Rutgers Community Service Officer Program Keeps Students Safe
You've seen them on campus and at athletic events, but did you know that RUPD's Community Service Officer division is the largest student law enforcement program in the nation? Watch our video to see the many ways these students keep people safe at Rutgers.
The CSOs patrol on foot, bicycle, in specially marked security vehicles and even on horseback – providing security at athletic and special events, as well as residence halls and campus buildings. Many CSOs use the experience to propel themselves into a career in law enforcement.
