Police: Two Dead in Shooting on S. Newton Ave.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Springfield police say two people are dead and another is injured after a shooting in the 700 block of S. Newton Friday. Police say an injured man went to a neighbor’s house to ask for help. The neighbor called 911 around noon and the man was taken to a local hospital.
