US Embassy: Recovered drone unarmed, a naval exercise target
The United States Navy drone recovered by Quezon policemen over the weekend was unarmed and wasn't used for surveillance, the US Embassy said in a statement on Tuesday. The embassy said the drone found in Patnanungan on Sunday was actually an aerial target launched in September as part of a naval exercise near Guam.
